Medical Necessity for
Trochanter Support
Sacroiliac articulations are two of the most important structural
centers of the spinal support. They are supported bilaterally
by the weight bearing ligaments (interosseous by definition).
These ligaments contain type 3 receptors of wyke. These
receptors control the trajectory of the bodily stance. Sprain
and strain of these ligaments (which is what occurs when we have a
sacroiliac sprain/strain) results in kinesiological aberrations
throughout the entire musculoskeletal system. Therefore,
support of these ligaments is essential to proper corrections and
healing and also avoidance of secondary neuro-musculoskeletal
complications.
The sacroiliac Trochanter support belt is specially designed to
compress AND stabilize the sacroiliac articulations thereby
relieving stress and hyper mobility of the weight bearing ligaments.
